Can you find this dress from my crappy drawing of it?

You might have to squint a bit...

It was a flowy cottony fabric, striped black and white at the (square) neck and cuffs, with a striped belt. Half sleeves. The rest of the dress was a black and cream geometric pattern, quite small, almost Indian looking.

Can anyone find it?

I'm bumping because someone who has gone to the trouble of drawing the dress of her dreams and then posting said drawing on the interweb ... well, she deserves not to languish.

My guess, for a starter of 10 points: Cos? Hoss?

By the way, Tethers, if you were stalking gazing at this dress so intently, why didn;t you just ask the wearer where it was from? (I'm asking because I just know there will be an interesting answer to this ...)

Good question, cat- it was on a teacher at DD's early years assembly. I thought it might be slightly inappropriate to pipe up and ask her where she got it from in the middle of the hello song

Maybe you coukd ring the Palace and ask if you can have Kates dress? She wont fit in it any more.

Actually I thought your sketch was v good and I've had a good trawl of the intertubes looking for a 'black and white kaftan dress' as I think that's the closest to your drawing. I haven't yet found anything close enough I'm afraid. I'll keep thinking though. I really like what you're searching for!
