Home colouring : can the unused lotion be saved for another use?

Just that really.

I'm using a Colour Mask on my hair. I've only got short hair so only use half the lotion. Can I save the other half for another time? Or will the chemicals do something chemically iyswim.

If it's the ones where you have 2 lotions you mix to activate, then anything mixed you have to use at that time, but there's nothing to stop you onky mixing half in another bottle or pot

I might try that next time. It seems a shame to waste half the lotion.

I've just bought one that is for multi use. It's swartzkopf or whatever they are called.
