Bikini colours for pale freckle skin

The warm weather is making me think of actually buying a bikini this year.

Please can someone advise clueless me on what colours would suit milk bottle very pale, freckly skin?

No expert, but I've always been told purples and greens suit fair/pale skin, works well with red/brown or blonde hair as well

Do you eventually tan or will you use fake tan? I ask because red-heads with freckles can look wonderful in tobacco/tan/rich brown shades.

Teal, Bottle, Olive and Khaki green can look great as can deep Charcoal greys. Dusty pinks and deep rose can look beautiful too and milky skins gain a lovely luminescence next to these colours. They accentuate.

Also consider stripes- a wide breton stripe or a contrast edging to a bikini. Go for a darker contrast as opposed to white.

Take the bikini into day light and hold it against your skin- the wrist is good. Shop lights will not give you a clear idea of how it looks.

I am very pale and usually go for turquoise which seems quite flattering.

I am very fair skinned and find that deep colours like bright green look good. I also like 'ice cream' colours, but they have to be quite vibrant rather than a wishy washy sort of pastel. I agree that purple is a great choice.

Yes, Turquoise, Aqua, Skyblue can look great.

Not planning on fake tanning, I will get a bit of colour/more freckles but not much.

All Internet shopping so no chance of trying before buying, but this will help me cut down on return postage.

Animal print looks nice against fair skin too, especially on redheads.
