A statement necklace to go with this dress to jazz it up at bit?

I have a christening coming up and I can't really afford a new outfit so need to make do with what I already have.

I have a navy dress that fits very well, a flattering cut for me and some shoes that go well but would like a statement necklace that will make it less plain. Any suggestions?

That's a lovely dress - I was so tempted by it in the pattern but didn't have a reason to wear! I love pink with navy...saw this one in my local Next earlier today but it's sold out online.

I would never thought of pink, but that looks lovely. Brighter than I would normally go for, but I like it. Shame it has sold out online but there might still be some in store.

Topshop have some of their necklaces on sale and their is definitly statement necklaces.

A mustard yellow would also look very striking with the navy. Wallis, DP, Topshop, Miss Selfridge all do great necklaces (they're all made by the same concession company btw so you can often find a Topshop necklace at a cheaper price or with discount in DP, albeit with a subtle variation in style!)
