When do you buy your summer (or winter clothes?)

I've been out today and yesterday and the day before and everything looks like a bring and buy sale, and I hate B and B sales :( I'm pretty small and only larger sizes are available in anything remotely ok.

So 2 questions for you lovely ladies ;)

When do you go shopping? I couldn't bring myself to go shopping when it was cold and dreary and now everything's gone.

Are there any nice holiday clothes anywhere?

I tend to buy summer clothes in March/April and winter clothes mid-August/September (and that includes on-line orders for dd).

Sounds terribly smug/organised but I have the opposite problem to you ... I'm big and wobbly and live in a country where many of the clothes shop sizes only go up to a 14, so I have to get in there quickly and be organised, especially with popular on-line brands or all the larger sizes have disappeared (whispers quietly, especially from Boden)

I'm quite surprised you have difficulty when you are small though... I used to be thin a century or so ago and there used to be loads of 'thin' sizes in the sales ...

As for holiday clothes, I got some good things from Monsoon and Gap on-line recently...any good?
