broad shoulders, what sleeves can I wear in this heat!

I am somewhere between an apple and an upside down triangle shape, and have broad, very square shoulders. I live in wide V necked tops with 3/4 length sleeves. But I need something more summery.

Cap sleeves are a no-no, as are pouffy ones. Spaghetti straps are also not a good look, the large bust doesn't help this cause. Anyone got any tips?

Apple shaped with broad shoulders as well, Halter neck tops are great but I am trying to find some good quality and supportive ones this year as my old ones from Boden no longer fit. Also try wrap style tops sleeveless if you prefer.Hope this helps but show those shoulders off it tends to detract attention from my tum.

Slouchy slash necks with short sleeves, the extra fabric shows less arm than a tighter sleeve and the bagginess is cool to wear. I tend to wear slim bottoms so I don't look like a total blob.

I find that vest tops with wider straps (bit not spaghetti ones) are more flattering; they hide the armpit fat as well!

I'm an upside down triangle too - shoulders broader than my hips, so cap or pouffy sleeves look bad. I like slouchy slash neck tshirts and sleeveless tops/blouses in hot weather. Or wide strapped vest tops for v casual days.

Thanks ladies. At the moment I'm thinking this might be good and also quite like this. Will try hunting for some vest tops too. Not sure about halternecks, they're a style I've never really tried as I thought they would emphase my shoulders, but will try some on and see.
My arms will get a shock, they've not seen daylight in years!

No I think halternecks and strapless tops/dresses look good with broad shoulders :) They emphasise them in a good way! Love the shape and colour of the first top, and will work fine with broad shoulders. The second one's a bit ruffly for my taste.
