moving on from LM tinted moisturiser: YSL or CC/BB cream or something else?

After 10 years of loyalty my Laura tinted moisturiser just isn't cutting it any more Sad

It's just not making me glow like it used to, I guess as my skin is getting older, more sun damaged etc. I also find it doesn't last more than a couple of hours, even with a primer.

I've tried using it with Bare Escentuals mineral powder, but I don't like the dustiness (I know, buff buff buff, but still).

I've had Clinique BB/CC cream recommended and also YSL touche eclat foundation.

I don't have any blemishes or anything, I just want something that evens skin tone and makes me look awake and bright eyed, without looking like I'm wearing make up IYSWIM. I find most foundations too heavy.

Any recommendations please before I go and see one of the Orange Ladies in Selfridges? Grin

I've been persevering with Clinique CC cream and now love it. I didn't want anything that gave anything more than a light natural looking coverage either.

If you go to one of the Clinique counters get a colour match and ask for a sample, the pots are a decent size. The sample I was given has lasted a good three weeks!

oh great, thank you! I didn't know they did samples.

Do you use it with the BB cream?

I use the Clinique facial wash (part of the 3 step cleanse), their DD moisturiser then use Elemis flash balm under the CC cream. The flash balm was free with Red mag :)
Having watched the Lisa Eldridge videos about choosing a foundation I'd never buy one without trying for a good week. I've not tried any BB creams.
