but in jersey or cotton. Such a simple dress but I cant find one not in polyester. Doesnt have to be navy (though suspect that would be most likely) but not black or grey or pink. Surely someone has spotted one somewhere? Let me know. Thanks!

Size? Budget? Are we looking just for the shape or the stripes as well?

MrsLettuce · 08/07/2013 19:48

linen?

Hi MrsLettuce - size 8-10 (depends on the store but for shift dress probably an 8). Budget - not fussed. Not £100's (after all, it is only summer for about 8 dyas a year). Linen - hmmm. Not sure as if is too stiff then makes me look like an hiding something (and having finally lost the baby-weight (3 yrs later!) I dont want to look like am expecting. Does look like it has some shape though. Will look. Thanks

Hi tweet. All of those are great - but I do want either short sleeved or sleeveless. And not white. (Sorry, didnt realise I was so fussy!). Thanks

wrong neckline. silk

herewegoloopyloo · 08/07/2013 20:28

Ohh. Now I do like that, even though v neck (which is not a bad thing). Silk is a worry, though - with 2 DC. Hmmm.

Too shapeless?

100% cotton

herewegoloopyloo · 08/07/2013 21:01

Hello remus.. The first is a bit prison-camp chic but the 2nd is possible. Don't know why hadnt thought to look in Gap. Thanks

Yes - if you are tall and thin and probably Alexa Chung, the first one could be fab but otherwise...:)

Sadly -most definitely not Alexa Chung. Even on a 'good day'. Ah well. Thanks though!
