3 day city break - want to get it right for once!

Hi I am going to Marbella for 3 days soon and want to look as effortlessly stylish as I can. I have never pulled it off before but am hoping to look the part!
Ok so I have a black maxi dress that I love. That's coming with me. I have a pair of indigo jeggings, also coming with me. I have plenty of sandals for both the maxi and the jeggings. I have no tops. I was thinking of some light summery inexpensive tops to go with the jeggings and maybe another summer dress?
I am a tall size 12 pear. I hate anything sleeveless and I am very pale.

Anybody see anything decent recently? Dresses have to go over my knee at the very shortist and I need sleeves of some sort.

My advice is to think about what you will be doing and build an outfit around it.
For my holidays [2 weeks] I have selected outfits as follows:
Beach x 1 [not a sunbather]
Evenings x 2 - going out
Day x 3 - hot weather
Day x 1 - cooler weather/rain
Travel x 1
Loungewear x 1

So that's 9 looks and including accessories [but not undies] 27 items at the moment. I try and reuse items when I can e.g. travel and cool/wet day have the same jacket and trousers.
I use www.stylebookapp.com to plan the looks and this builds a packing list for me.
It takes a bit of time to plan out but it's completely changed the way I dress for time away.

Unfortunately I don't have an iphone but it's coming to ipad soon apparently and then I am definitely downloading it, it's just what I need! I will have a good think about how I plan to spend the 3 days/nights and pack around that.

Too hot for jeggings

Stop Eliot I realised that this afternoon when I roasted myself alive in them! I guess if I cook in them here I certainly will in Spain. Am thinking of swapping them for lightweight chinos now.. Will not bare legs!
