Where do all you busty ladies shop..?

My boobs are the bane of my life! Am size 14 but 34 G boobs. So many ' fashionable' clothes don't suit me and over the years I've come to terms with this but I find clothes shopping so depressing. Even Pepperberry which I thought was a great idea are crap. Hideous clothes and really just bigger versions of the usual fashions. WHICH ARE DESIGNED FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BODY SHAPE..!!

What do other busty women do...?

It's a bloomin' pain, isn't it? Pepperberry stuff is beyond vile imo. Separates are generally better for me than dresses, though finding tops is v hard, as to fit the norks they are huge on the shoulders/across the back.

If you fancy splashing out, I'd recommend trying to get a Westwood jersey dress. She cuts for big boobed hour glass figures.

Other than that, I struggle tbh. I wear a lot of skirts with plain jersey cowl neck tops, from Hobbs.

I am similar to you as a 14/16 with 34FF bust. I am a SAHM so don't have to dress for work but I stick to plain non clingy t's (just found a couple of nice ones in Next), one colour dresses, a Maxi in grey from Oasis, a midi from Dotty P in blue, I wear alot of scarves to add interest and colour and to draw attention from
my bust. Keep it simple and you can shop anywhere however my big boobs do make me feel frumpy and I steer well clear of high fashion x

Now I have few things from pepperberry which are great but I agree that you do have to selective. I also find phase eight and monsoon are quite good. I've had success with John rocha and coast too. I'm more accepting now that a lot of things won't fit over the boobs but I've got a fair idea of what brands work for me. I've also been known to buy a size up and then take to good seamstress for alterations. As for shirts with buttons? I can only dream

I tend now to dress in more forgiving styles - adjustable wrap dresses, cowl/drape necks, v-necks etc to give me a few more inches at the front [36 G]

Thanks for the suggestions, and the empathy! II really dislike some of the current fashions at the moment, flouncy, frills and cut too high in the bust. Guess things are never going to change as fashion seems to be designed for much slimmer women or at least a completely different body shape, sometimes I feel like I'm from an alien species.

I tend to wear low cut fitted tee shirts, waterfall cardis, long floaty skirts to balance my top half. Not v fashionable but had my colours done a few years ago which helped !

I've also had a few nice things from Pepperberry but agree, being selective is the key. The few things I have are very flattering and get lots of complements, and their shirts work when I need one. There are a few other companies along the same line - biubiu, Urkye and DD+atelier spring to mind.

Otherwise I wear dresses. Lots and lots and lots of them. Normally in a fabric which has a bit of stretch - I get on well with fit and flare or skater type dresses and anything verging towards the 50s silhouette end of the spectrum. I'm a 30HH/J bust, with hips that if anything are even wider and a waist in the middle that doesn't match size wise!

Oh - where. Recent purchases are Jigsaw, PeopleTree, Me&Em (not tried on yet), French Connection, got my eye on a couple in Great Plains, ASOS (totally hit and miss), Dorothy Perkins (also hit and miss), Hobbs (more hits than misses but I avoid some of their lined dresses as the lining is always too small even though the main fabric stretches and fits me). Oasis used to be better but has got skimpy. Monsoon sometimes. LadyV Vintage

I'm a 34G and I do wear a lot of Boden. Sometimes a bit hit and miss but I read the reviews and look at the measurements. I bought 4 summer jersey dresses that all fit well. I like their empire lines under the bust that show the narrowest part of your body rather than hanging straight from my boobs and making me look pregnant.

I have this problem, I'm a GG/H cup.

Laura Ashley, bizarrely, can be pretty good. Obviously you have to pick carefully to avoid the frump but for example today I've got a black sleeveless vest on from there. Wide shoulder straps and nicely fitted under the arm with plenty of boob room, but still fitted around the waist rather than hideously baggy.

Boden, again depends on the style. Also FatFace.

Sainsbury's cheap cotton vests are great in this weather. They have enough stretch in them to fit boobs and waist.

Dresses I buy Boden, Phase Eight and LadyV Vintage.

I would recommend the bravissimo strappy tops with built in bra. They have revolutionised my summer wardrobe. I'm wearing one today. I tend to go for wrap dresses with a bit of stretch to them. Same for tops. My smarter tops tend to be cross over wrap types. Work and casual tends to be vest tops, or something with a bit of stretch to it. I had a massive wardrobe clearout a while back (think half my wardrobe in black bin bags). Got rid of a lot of stuff that wasn't flattering. Much happier with my choices now. One of the most flattering is the Coast £95 dress (Olivia?), I've worn it with flats and a cardigan to work and with killer heels on a night out. It's got stretch so it fits over the boobs but still fits well enough everywhere else to give a really nice sillouette.

I'm in the same fashion quandary, having lost 5st last year and gone from a 38HH to a 26G.
Even on Pepperberry size charts I'm a super curvy

I usually find Oliver Bonas good for cowl dresses, but not this season.

The shape that suits me best dress-wise seems almost impossible to find lately. Think square neck or scoop neck and very fitted to the body but without a defined waist as such, and with wide straps or little cap sleeves. Sort of a Marilyn Monroe 'wiggle' dress, I guess.

34G hourglass here. I find Biba and DKNY jersey dresses to be excellent fits on the pricier end of the spectrum. For cheap every day stuff, New Look has some decent dresses in their Inspire range. I got two really nice v neck, mock wrap dresses from there and they have worn and washed brilliantly without losing any of their shape.

I have bought one a similar shape from Boden, it has an elasticated waist that puffs over slightly, and quite a square top. Loads of boob room but quite fitted through the hip so it doesn't look billowy.

It is also worth mentioning on this thread that the key to getting dresses in particular to fit well when you are busty is to be wearing the right sized bra. I am amazed at the range of styles I can wear since getting myself into the correct bra.

not a pizza, m and s have brought out a new range for boobs, my prayers have been answered! :) Hopefully they're not too frumpy! What is the range called? Not seen it...

I went on a date once with a guy I thought was really nice. On the way back to the station he asked what size my breasts were and I felt really embarassed. A few days later on the phone I said I hadn't liked him asking me this. His response? Well, you shouldn't show them off then!( I was wearing a wrap dress) I can't win! If I wear loose clothes I look huge, ifI wear more figure hugging clothes that make me look slimmer I get crap like this...:(
