I know I've probably left it a bit late but has anyone seen any nice ones around? She's a size 5.

Got some lovely silver ones from Zara last year but now their sale's on, there doesn't seem to be much choice.

Managed to find a pair in M and S for dd1 but am now struggling to find a pair for dd2 (10).

She didn't like any in New Look so we tried M and S for her too. They had a few nice styles with a small wedge and a buckle. Problem is, she's slightly dyspraxic and hasn't had buckles before and it took her ages to do them up. Dh thinks she'll get used to them as the leather softens, but as I pointed out to dd, sandals come off and on again LOTS in the summer, does she want to be faffing around each time?

She's disappointed as wanted a more grown up style rather than children's shoe stop style with velcro. Will she have to master buckles?

How about flip flop style? Mandm direct have fitflops or clinkard also John lewis.

Would she go for something like birkenstock madrid or gizeh?

I showed her Birkenstocks and didn't get a good response! She wants something pretty and girly but not babyish if that's possible.
