Chinos or 7/8 length slim leg trousers - recommendations?

I need to get out of regular blue denim jeans. Has anyone bought any chinos or 7/8 length coloured jeans they would recommend? One pair of chinos looks the same as another online !

Just got some Gap skinny chinos. Like them a lot! Colours are black, navy, and a greeny/stone.

Tighter & more stretchy than most chinos. 7/8 length on me 5'4"

Hadn't thought of Gap, Iate - will definitely check them out. Currently looking at White Stuff in either a stone colour or purple/blue. Thanks

I really like the Next 7/8 cigarette trousers.
I have the black pair and am thinking of getting another pair in a different colour, as they're just so comfortable and the material is really nice too. Think thick and cotton, not shiny and cheap.

I'm 5ft 5ins and the regular length sit just on my ankle. They come up slightly smaller than most Next trousers though - I often fit in a Next size 10, but the 12 in these is just right on me. A bargain at £28, IMO.
