ive tried on a few flat shoes but find my feet is abit too wide

Have you tried Evans they do flats for wider feet.

i do mean the Pumps style that are in now

Evans have the fashionable ones biglips.

I find Faith shoes to be quite wide and they have loads of pumps.

i too have this problem - clarks and scholl now both have really nice styles and comfy fit.
