Are pointy toes and kitten-y heels 'back in'?

I sold some on ebay a while back when everyone seemed to be saying kitten heels were passe.

I hardly wear 'best' shoes but thought these might work with skinny jeans or jegging type trousers for evening-y wear.

I've seen them on some fashion blogs but I'm not sure if they will take off as a trend.

Ugh I hate kitten heels (frumpy) and hate pointy toes (make my feet look like canoes)

It's a 'no' from me.
