Dr Hauschka fans

I recently bought some Dr Hauschka stuff off this website - it's a German , prices are much cheaper than Space NK or my local health food store and shipping is very reasonable EUR6.95 for 5 kgs and the stuff arrived very quickly.

Word of warning - all the packaging is in German so don't expect to be able to read instructions if you don't speak German!

You've got to love the German to English translations. It reads as though they just pumped it into Babelfish.

Rojak (I feel a bit peckish for crunchy, spicy fruit and veg everytime I see your name btw) is Dr Hauschka shampoo any good? I'm currently using Duchy Originals because I wanted to try a shampoo without sulphates, but I don't think it's nourishing enough for my dry, frizzy hair.

Application reference Vibrate before use well. Rinse a sufficient quantity out shampoo into the wet hair in shampoo kidneys depending upon hair length and. Wash as required the hair a second time.

Yes the website is quite funny - they seem to have tried to translate it into English and then when they can't find an equivalent English word, they slot in the German word eg. sonnenmilch!

Rojak, my dh is Malaysian and I've done my best to embrace his culture by eating as much of the local cuisine as possible. I can even say your name with the glottal stop instead of a hard 'k' (well it's a fair attempt at a glottal stop anyway ).

I buy it from House of Fraser, if you're near Bicester they have a cosmetic outlets which sells Aveda - of course hit & miss on what they have there. Although it's expensive, you don't need much, so it seems to last forever !

Could also try your local health food shop for JASON products, my friend uses their shower products & says they are fab - non-drying etc

I get my Aveda Shampure from lookfantastic.com. DH has v.v. sensitive scalp as does my mum and it's the only shampoo he can tolerate. Thumbs up for Aveda. And one onelitre bottle lasted us both 6 months - so not as expensive as one bottle of decent stuff from Boots every month,
