I need a few basics to get through the summer - any suggestions please?

I need a few basics to see me through the summer. I have hardly any clothes that fit due to post baby tummy.

I have £120 to spend in Debenhams & £30 in Next.
I have no idea what to get as I feel out of touch with style. Ideally it would be good to have a few things that go together. I work part time in an office which is smart casual and then I'm at home with the dc in afternoons.

I'm 5'3 size 12. Off to the shops today so any suggestions would be much appreciated as I feel rubbish when I come back with nothing. Thanks.

I am rubbish at this sort of thing but enjoy your shop and let us know what you got. Maybe someone will make a good suggestion before you set off.

My advice is to just try on anything you remotely like the look of! I used to see things but think it probably wouldn't suit me so didn't try it, now I try everything and have been surprised when things have looked really nice. Hope you have a successful shopping trip!

Someone linked to this £20 red top from Next recently www.next.co.uk/g88186s6#476665g88 I tried it on instore and something about the design made my tummy look smaller.

Oops, posted too late for your shopping trip, sorry OP. I hope you found some nice things Smile

Summer?? What summer!
I'd go for dresses and little cropped cardigans, things you wear into the Autumn too.
