Can I wear red patent heels to work?

All my shoes are black so I bought these red shoes and thought they'd go nicely. My friend said 'You're going to wear red shoes to work?! You're, err, brave! Aren't you worried people will think "red shoes, no knickers"?' Err no, I wasn't. I am a bit now though! So MN, what do you think? (I work in a corporate environment).

Red shoes no knickers

Haha I wore red shoes last week to work and someone said 'red shoes no knickers!' I've never heard it before & was abit taken aback.

I love my red shoes though and will be wearing them again....I got far more compliments

I would raise an eyebrow and ask if they were enquiring after my underwear with a death stare. They won't do it again.

Anyway everyone knows its heels being carried at 7am knickers in handbag anyway.

I love red shoes and have 5 pairs including those ones! I wear them all the time and wouldn't give a second thought to wearing them at work.
