...an event with Box Tickets?

No time to go and buy anything so has to be from my drab wardrobe.

Any ideas?

What sort of event?

MrsLettuce · 27/06/2013 22:59

What's in the wardrobe, dear? Can't quite see from here.

WeAreSix · 27/06/2013 23:04

Music event.

Wardrobe is dated and full of school run stuff. Skinny jeans. I've got one nice sheer blouse with a bird print.

There's a lot of breastfeeding t shirts!!!

A couple of full circle skirts - one red, one cerise.

Is it outside? Pop? Classic?

I'd defo say skinnies and sheer blouse, I think.

WeAreSix · 27/06/2013 23:11

Inside, like a conference suite I think.

It's a big gig happening this weekend, in a big place with someone very famous on stage. Wink

Defo skinnie and a blouse, I'd probably wear heels, but some wouldn't. DH and I get invited to things like that, no one ever really dresses up.

WeAreSix · 28/06/2013 09:23

This is my one and only opportunity to dress up a bit. DH and I haven't been out alone for a couple of years so going to make the most of it :)

I'm so excited! Off to raid wardrobe now.

I love doing those sorts of things, I always feel really special, DH and I have been to some dodgy things on hospitality but still had an ace time.

Have fun trying things on :)

Robbie williams?!

WeAreSix · 28/06/2013 10:29

Yes Robbie!!! Argh!!!

So. It's either navy palazzo trousers & navy top or ankle length beige chinos with either white / green polka dot casual shirt or ivory sheer blouse with navy bird print.

Shoes are next hurdle.

I was in a similar position last week. Having totally scoped out the rest of the boxes most people will be in jean with some kind of nice blouse top. Some will be younger in t shirts. Not many in high heels, although some in mids.

I wore my gap skinnies, flat shoes for dancing along, and this top with a casual blazer and scarf for when the sun went down.

I love that top Fumbles. My bird print one is similar.

Where did you go?

MrsLettuce · 28/06/2013 19:57

My vote is for navy palazzo trousers & navy top, if you have fab, bright heels.
