Admittedly ebay item was new and boxed etc - but why not just buy new from shop? Confused

Got caught up in a bidding war by accident?
Blush I haven't done this at all.

Aha just seen some sizes are sold out! That could explain it.

Lots of Primark stuff goes for £££ on ebay too - popular stuff that goes out of stock in store can usually be found on ebay

They could be bidding from abroad and the postage be cheaper than the shop's postage? Or just incompetent? I once sold a pair of £38 Topshop trousers for £78 to someone in Australia - crazy. Topshop stuff goes well once it's sold out.

I've found Primarni and Next sells often for more than it's worth.

Usually happens when item has sold out in certain sizes and not available instore or online from original shop. Some canny sellers stockpile them and make a killing by auctioning them off.
