What to wear with this dress?

Going to a family event, don't want to be too dressed up, but don't want to look like I'm trying to outdo the teenagers. I'm 34, can I get away with this? Might need a jacket to go over as it's in Scotland (in August, but you know, that means nothing in Scotland!). Shoes? Heels or strappy flats?

The event. Tricky. Essentially it's a renewal of wedding vows. But we have very limited info - don't know if it's in church or not. Don't know if it's a restaurant after, or a private function, dancing or not, indoors or outdoors. I've tried to cover all bases...

Oooh, I like that! I'd put it with tights and some mid-heel ankle booties (tan suede maybe? or black leather if you have a biker jacket to pair with it?)

Black leather jacket would be great, wouldn't it? Hmmm... I've wanted one for a while now. I have found that I actually own the perfect pair of black heels, they were hiding under the bed. Black satin, part sequined, sort of "cage" shoes that zip up the back. I think those, with a leather biker jacket would be good.

Any suggestions for a good looking black leather biker?
