Well.... For various reasons the pre holiday diet never happened. I am now dreading going away to Portugal in 5 weeks time as I have nothing to wear. I am so cross I've let myself get in this state and want to do the best I can not to let it spoil the holiday for the rest of my family.

I am size 16/18 5ft 8. I have good legs and big boobs but my tummy is hideous after 2 c sections, an infected bladder (which makes it bloat even more) and too much cake!

I love dresses that don't cling to this area but hate my arms so need something cool with sleeves. Happy to wear trousers/skirts/shorts as legs ok but REALLY struggle with tops. Normal t shirts make me look very masculine and big and cling to the problem areas.

I'm not even bothered about being particularly stylish - just cool. Comfortable and not an embarrassment to my family (though they are too lovely to say anything!).

Please help me! What can I wear on top!

Many thanks in advance :-)

How about sleeveless blouses instead of t shirts or the loose vest top that gather at the bottom a bit? Both hang better than clingy t shirts. Wear with wide linen trousers or tight crop jeans/ shorts depending on how good your legs are. Maxi dress? You have the height for it and get a style that clings to your boobs and skins your tummy.

Is it worth trying to lose some weight now, you could easily lose a stone in 5 weeks, low carb? MIght give you a boost?

The Boden linen T short is flattering with sleeves, also the Breton.

5 weeks def not too late to shave off a bit & tone up (I hope going away myself...?!?) You can do it! Would love love to have good legs & boobs, focus on the good! What about kaftan type tops wear on the beach & with trousers in the eve? Prob other way round more sensible Confused I'd go for drapey sleeves, steep v neck & loose over tummy. Maxi dress sounds good for your height too Smile It's a hol! it will be fab!

You are me. Every Monday, I make a start. By Wednesday, it's over! I go mid August so I could lose 10lbs but will I?

Watching....

I usually give myself 4 weeks of training to tone up into reasonable shape so it's defiantly doable - you just need to stay really focused and motivated for the next 5 weeks.

I'm exactly the same size and I love Bravissimo tops with the built in bra. M&S do a similar one for less ££. Sainsburys have cute cotton sundresses at the moment, get them quickly in case they need a bit of tailoring. Love the Boden maxis too.
Have a great holiday!!!!!

I'm in the same situation as you op. I've been through the sales and found these to be easy and lightweight.
