Jacket/cardigan for maxi dress

I have this maxi dress

It's really flattering on and I think it would be comfy for our upcoming flights. Problem is I need to wear something on top. Was thinking of a cropped denim jacket but wondered if anyone had a better idea?

Forgot to say, the reason I think it needs to be cropped is so you can see my waist as I look like a big rectangle if I don't. Oh and I've ditched the yellow belt.

I have just bought a lovely cropped denim which is a bit vintage looking from H and m. New look have some three quarter sleeve cropped cardi's in a few colours.

I have that dress and wear with a cropped denim jacket, mines a h and m one too

Cropped cardigans from Primark. Think they are seven quid. They are lovely and soft and wash well (realky) and come in black, navy, khaki, oatmeal and cream.

When you say cropped do you mean 3/4 sleeve or short in the body?

I find the aircon on some flights really fierce and get cold on planes, so I would get something that covers your wrists if you feel the cold easily.

the jacket sold out! levis done one very similar years ago which is why I wanted this one so much. They knock about on ebay? Does it have to be denim?

What about something like this? and there is an extra 20% off today also.

Thanks for all your replies. I got one in Forever 21 not where you would normally see me without a teenager it's perfect and as I'm a 'cold tattie' i have a lovely woolen scarf that can be pulled round me if I get cold. It's such a hassle free outfit and that's exactly what I need for a long journey.
