I have a dress I really like but it needs a cardi. Can you help?

This is the dress

What colour would you suggest? It needs to be a waist length fitted cardi. Have tried it with shrugs and looser cardigans but they look wrong. I have a denim jacket that works quite well.

I think a cardigan would kill that dress unless it were a very light weave / lace / fine linen. And even then I wouldn't be hugely keen. But I hate cardigans and only own one that I wear with nightwear round the house.

I'd go bare armed. Or a cropped denim jacket.

Nice dress! I'd go for silvery grey or white

All of the below are on the Pure Collection website so a bit £££ even in sale but for ideas?

Pure Collection one in Ivory?
ruffle edge
cashmere grey one?

Thanks. I do really like the dress. It is a great length, hangs well but I hate my upper arms plus with it being jersey and a bit clingy there is a wee back roll of the flabby stuff so definitely need something to wear on top. The pure stuff is lovely.
