Help! My hair is being destroyed by too much swimming...

My hair is phenomenally fine, dry & frizzy at the best of times. I have started swimming x 4 times a week & my hair is really suffering.

Do hats actually keep your hair dry? I seem to remember having one once & pulling my hair out trying to get the bugger on....

Any tips. ?

Thank you Smile

Where did you get the 'underhat', do earwigsmakechutney ?

The underhat is like this: underhat, though mine was definitely cheaper than that. And the silicone hat is like this Speedo long hair hat

When I remember, I'll put coconut oil on my hair before the double hat system, as I think that will help with the general condition too.

I've only just got back into swimming, I'm going 3 times a week for about an hour at a time.
So far my hair is doing fine, I just wash it as soon as I get home, I thonk the frizziness is giving it a bit of extra 'body' :o but then it is short, I'm guessing yours is long Potato?

Im glad the pool I use doesnt insist on swimming hats, I've never liked them...tight & headache inducing :(

I didn't know you could get hats specifically for long hair, my silicone (headache inducing) one is just a reguiar adults one.
