Boden cashmere cardigan - any good?

I'm looking at the cropped cashmere cardigan - who has one, and is it REALLY machine-washable..?? I have a fair bit of vintage cashmere in my wardrobe and the Boden cardies certainly look the part on paper...

Yes. I have 5 and machine wash them, they keep in excellent condition, very happy with them.

(Didn't realise I had 5 until counting them just now, that's a bit excessive really isn't it?!)

I have one from 2-3 years ago and it is immaculate (machine washed, 30 degrees, wool cycle, Ecover delicates liquid). I cannot say the same for ALL of my Boden cashmere items, though. I treat them all the same but some seem to do much better than others. It seems to vary from batch to batch.

Ooh ooh ooh my first Boden cashmere cardie arrived today and I've been wearing it non-stop (despite it being the hottest day of the year!) - keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't go all bobbly, and have ordered a couple more from the autumn preview collection....
