Ok, I keep seeing these tops around. They usually have 3/4 sleeves and are drapey both in fit and material if that makes sense. Seem to end just below the bum. The sleeves are usually tight/fitted on bottom half and sort of batwinged top half and obv underneath arms. Does ths make any sense? I would like one please Smile

Like a caftan? Or a tunic?

reggiebean · 19/06/2013 21:47

*kaftan, sorry

MaryKatharine · 19/06/2013 21:49

Maybe a tunic. Too dressy to be a caftan I think. They look a bit glam with skinny jeans and gold ballet pumps.
Thanks, reggie

I think that type of sleeve is called a Dolman sleeve? I have a few tops like that from Hush.

MaryKatharine · 19/06/2013 22:00

Thanks reggie!
Sneezy, yes by googling I think that's it.

If you put 'dolman' in shopstyle, lots come up. I have a few from Primark that are quite drapey.

MaryKatharine · 19/06/2013 22:24

Thanks. this is what I want. this

Ooh I used to have one of those from Warehouse. It was a massive pain to wear and kept flapping everywhere but very comfortable!

reggiebean · 20/06/2013 00:37

Oooh, I like those! Not at all like I was picturing, but I think I may be searching for one alongside you now!

bishboschone · 20/06/2013 21:03

You can get those by the dozen from eBay . I find them very unflattering though as I am an hourglass so my small bit gets lost . Comfy though.

TheEarlOf · 20/06/2013 21:10

When you're looking for them they're often called bat wings
