Like fat face and white stuff but want brighter colours

I faced my dress fear today and bought a lovely, flattering dress from fat face (never been in before) here.

Also popped into white stuff (also never been in before) which had more flattering dresses but they both sell such dreary colours.

Does anywhere sell similar stuff but in stronger colours? Is it always like this or is it just this season?

mistral is similar.

Debenhams Manteray brand is v White Stuffesque. Matalan has a brand - Falmer? I think which is close but more hit and miss than Manteray.

I also recommend Mantaray from Debenhams: it's lovely and half the price of Fat Face and White Stuff

Ooooo! Queen! I've just had a look at Mistral. Lovely stuff, thanks for the link Grin

Queencadbury
Thank you for the link to Mistral colours look lovely and prices not to extravagant. I notice all the stores are in the south of England. Im in the north. What is the quality like?

MaybeBentley · 18/06/2013 20:39

I've got a few bits and am happy with the quality. I've only got summer tops and they are a couple of years old now. All washed fine, I especially like the crinkle cotton as I loathe ironing and it's "wash and twist".

QueenCadbury · 18/06/2013 21:15

I've never bought anything from mistral so I'm not sure on the quality I'm afraid. My mum has a top which she hasn't complained about so I'm guessing it's ok.

I have had a few things from Mistral and have stopped buying them becuse the qulity has been consistently poor. No tops, only bottoms, but seams have come undone, belt loops come off, and one pair of trousers ripped up the thigh when I pulled them up the waist.
