Beetlejuice!! - Please help me find a vintage mens swimsuit

My googling has failed me

We are going on a pool based holiday in 6 weeks, but DH is very self conscious of his body and hates going topless in the water.

We thought this would be fantastic - or a kind of Edwardian bathing suit

But I can only seem to find suggestions as to how to make one, or a fancy dress shop based in Brighton which has a cut that seems a bit baggy.

Does anyone have an idea where I can source one, or has anyone come up with different solutions?

Thank you for all the responses, unfortunately dh doesn't have the build to pull off a rash vest, broad shoulders and a belly that's lost weight but is quite large.

He wanted something as a one piece so that he doesn't get constantly asked why he has his T shirt on.

I think that kind of a onesie would get more comments than a tee tbh

What about some kind of surfing type suit? You get short ones.

Not yet - but i'm not giving up!

He's quite an exhibitionist really, so wearing something outlandish doesn't bother him, but the belly bothers him a lot - especially the stretchmarks.

Its not brilliant as he never wants to go swimming with us in a "public" place. The holiday has a private family pool with just family members coming, but he still doesn't want his chest uncovered.

I suppose it's a bit like the only swimsuits being available are bikinis - are you're constantly questioned why you're not wearing one.
