Need a dress for a wedding. It's a civil ceremony, in a hall type place I think, then sit down meal in a resturant and then evening buffet party thing.

It's in July so am assuming it may be warm and so I would like to wear a dress for a change.

Ok my stas are, I'm 27 (ok i'll be 28 then), size 10/12 with bit of a wobbly belly. 34D boobs but they are ok, not saggy LOL.

Have looked on ebay and other sites but they are either really tarty or really mummsy.

HELP

Oh and as for budget, would prefer no more than £50 but as I'll be having it on my mums card show me anything.

This colour looks great on us Wink. The ruching (horrible word) will help disguise your mummy tummy}

NDP that is lovely

It should be comfy and still a bit clingy/sexy because it's jersey. A good fabric to go for if you're not normally the dress type.

can't really help on the dress front, but I am the same size as you but taller. I recently wore a monsoon dress to a ball but bought some magic pants from M & S to wear under it. They were quite expensive (ok very expensive) but made my 'mummy tummy' (love that Nomdeplume!) disappear!

Will try and link to them in a tick.

magic pants are fantastic, worth every last penny. I have the M&S ones (i'm too mean to buy the £40 Spanx ones) and they do the job brilliantly

Can't find the pants on the website but know they are still in the Fosse park, Leicester M & S.

They go from mid thigh to just under your bust and kept everything where it used to be, were very comfy but I did take them off just before we left and stahed them in my bag as dp would have laughed like a drain if he'd seen them!

HTH and have a lovely time!

I think the M&S magic cycling shorts type pants I have were around £20.

Oh i thought nearer £27 but could be wrong. They do work well though.

And washed in the machine fine.

Funny that pants that go with pretty bras I'll spend loads on even though they are tiny but I object to HUGE pants that make me look better in clothes.

Bizarre! Wink

Hope you find what you are looking for nutcracker.

NDP - very nice and love the colour - right up my street (who cares about Nutty? Wink), but what colour accessories? - this always puts me off anything but black in a dress - I have no idea how to complement colours, so I stick with black so I can have black bag and shoes.

Thanks girls.

I love that dress NDP, and the colour, am a bit green obssessed at the mo. Only thing I am unsure about is the style at the top as that shape sometimes makes me look a bit chunky. I'll have to go try it on.

There's a green spotty one similar shade to that in Next atm (can't see it on website). Am thinking of this for a wedding on Friday (Organised? Moi?) but what colour shoes etc? Please?

Oh, and there are very similar ones to the Debenhams dress in Oasis and Monsoon atm. The style atm.
