With a black lace dress.

Just tried one on in Zara. I'm worried it might be a bit bumble bee. Sad

Yes. But then I regularly wear a neon pink jacket Grin

Corygal · 17/06/2013 16:29

Oh yes - sounds great. Would be very useful with other outfits too - instant colour, instant style.

HavingAnOffDAy · 17/06/2013 16:32

Personally no as I'd look like a big yellow beach ball

However I saw someone wearing one a week or two ago & absolutely loved it. I felt very Envy that she was young, slim & gorgeous enough to pull it off!

battlestarB · 17/06/2013 16:36

link? maybe

noddyholder · 17/06/2013 16:38

If I was 20 and skinny yes otherwise no (as I am neither!)

SofaCanary · 17/06/2013 17:25

KneeDeepInDaisies · 17/06/2013 17:27

Oh crap. I'm not 20 and not skinny. Will find links.

MikeLitoris · 17/06/2013 17:32

I would.

And now I want that dress and it is out of stock :(

EeyoreIsh · 17/06/2013 17:32

both look lovely, but do the two lengths work together?

Trills · 17/06/2013 17:33

I would not wear a neon yellow blazer.

KneeDeepInDaisies · 17/06/2013 17:36

I have no idea Eeyore. I haven't actually tried them together!

I also saw one in a brightish pink from Zara.

Yellow renders me the colour of cat shit, so no.

DeathByTray · 17/06/2013 18:35

Don't ever go to the M.E.N. Arena wearing that blazer as you'll be mistaken for a steward.

DeathByTray · 17/06/2013 18:38

evidence

KneeDeepInDaisies · 17/06/2013 18:49

DeathByTray Grin

I'm not going to Manchester.

When you said neon yellow I thought you meant lollipop lady look alike but that yellow is fine! Looks nice :)

KneeDeepInDaisies · 18/06/2013 07:53

It looks a lot more yellow in RL. I'm having a wobble about it already.

Word to the wise ...I bought a fab bright yellow jacket and felt great until I wore it to go on holiday where upon it turned itself into hi-vis jacket at the airport and a hi-di-hi holidaymakers at the hotel . Grin

KneeDeepInDaisies · 18/06/2013 12:04

I've bought the yellow blazer. Shock

I will not wear it to the MEN or an airport. Grin

I tried on the pink one but the yellow is nicer but a bit tighter on the arms. If I cut a bit of the lining will that make it looser?

OP posts:
TheEarlOf · 18/06/2013 12:59

If it's the issue of the lining tugging when moving about and making it tight then yes cutting the lining will help. Otherwise probably won't

KneeDeepInDaisies · 18/06/2013 14:22

I'm not sure Earl. The 2 jackets were the same but different colours. The yellow just seems to have a lot more lining. Will have to think.
