Do you have one of the Phillips Steam Generator Irons that has no temperature dial & does it really adjust the temp automatically between saying ironing linen followed by silk ? a little about the claims & wonder if it is worth the money ?

Yes, I do and yes it works!

Seriously the best iron I have had on the basis of temp adjustment alone. Not sure have ironed silk followed by linen, but I have ironed silk without a problem. To be fair, I have only ironed silk a couple of times, but I have four daughters, so various delicate fabrics and I don't seem to have a problem.

My only problem with the iron is that the water in the water reservoir has turned green. Probably algae. Doesn't affect ironing performance. I would recommend....

I have one and yes it definitely works! I've ironed various delicate fabrics with not a problem
