We have a wedding abroad in the Canaries in Jan.What would you dress a 9 year old boy in?
It's his uncle getting married, and my DH is best man his sister is bridesmaid so I want him to look smart but am not a big fan of suit type things.Any ideas?

What about something like 'smart' linen type trousers (or shorts?) and a nice linen-style shirt? Something that he will look smart in but also be comfortable in. Do you know what the temperature is going to be like then?

Just googled and it will only be about 20C so what mistlethrush wrote.

Yes, it could be a bit of the chilly side as the day goes on and I am told you need something for the evening/jumper etc
Yes was thinking of something more smart casual.I really don't want him in suit(ish)
