Do you like this dress? And how long do you think it is?

This one in red

You can often find Mango stuff on ASOS (where they say useful things like "the model is 5'10 and wearing a size 8) but not this one.

Oh that's lovely. No idea about the length, are most models over 5ft 10?

Wolfcub · 15/06/2013 18:02

that looks quite short to me but I like my skirts on or just below the knee. I would think it would come mid thigh

Trills · 15/06/2013 18:03

That's what I'm thinking - if it's longer than mid-thigh on her then it'll be closer to my knee (I'm 5'7).

Mango do free delivery on orders over £30, and the dress is £29.99. Clearly I need to buy something else too...

She'll be about 5'9 - 5'10" - on America's Next Top Model one of the contestants was 6' and they said she was a bit too tall. Lovely dress, a bit short if you're over 5'6", though I still would.

Trills · 15/06/2013 18:09

Yeah, 6' would be a bit tall for most "normal" clothes - the waist would be in the wrong place too.

What else shall I get in order to get my free delivery? :o

They have some very nice things on that site, I've only ever set foot in Mango once but did get a lovely dress. What do you need? Work tops, plain t-shirts, naice necklace to go with the dress?

Trills · 15/06/2013 18:23

I used to have a top like this ago but it died - is it too boring to just replace it? I did still wear it.

No, sensible to have a good top that you can wear lots. One sensible purchase and one exciting one, sounds good.

Trills · 15/06/2013 18:27

Done.

Thanks for your help :)

Yes, I like it. :)

And agree that the model is probably a giraffe.
