I'm starting a new job that will involve some outdoor work (walking across fields), I've got some fab Goretex high boots from Clarks and my Merrell Oslos for winter, but looking for some ankle-length boots for summer/autumn that are reasonably waterproof, good grip and preferably not too hideous so I can wear them all day.
I have had a look at Merrell boots but they all seem to be lined, Timberlands seem to be really expensive, Caterpillar boots a bit too chunky/workmen-like. Any suggestions...?
