Going to give running a go soon. Really need a good sports bra to avoid giving myself two black eyes. I am 36G. Thanks.

I'm a 38f and I got a good sports bra from bravissimo. Nothing moves in it. Can't remember the style off the top of my head but will check and let you know.

Can't beat Shock Absorbers IME. Though you will need to try on to get a good fit. Sport bras in general are a lot tighter around the rib cage.

At that cup size I'd go with Panache Ultimate Sports bra. I don't rate Shock Absorbers for anything more than an E cup. The Panache comes up true to size and is a beast of a bra - it holds my 30H's rock solid, and the convertible racer back is genius, providing even more support for those of us who need it.

Atlastadragon · 14/06/2013 21:35

I've just got one of those panache bras. I agree it is fantastic! I wore it for body combat last week and nothing was moving!

HotelTangoFoxtrotUniform · 14/06/2013 21:37

Buy an Enell. They are amazing - nothing moves and they don't go saggy after a few hundred washes. Mine are years and years old and are still as firm as the day I bought them.

I never got on with Shock Absorbers. One made me bleed in a half marathon once (and I couldn't wear a bra for a week, which at a G cup is an issue) and I needed to wear a squishing crop top over the top of it to minimise movements. I get none of this with the Enell, which whilst it takes some getting used to - it really squishes your boobs - is amazing.

kaumana · 14/06/2013 21:55

As you can see from above comments , it really is important to get a good fit. I don't personally agree with squishing your boobs ( sorry hotel) if you have a decent bra you should still have the definition ( no mono boob) as you would in a normal bra but they are locked in with wider straps/rib band and are made of a material that locks you in/no give IYSWIM.

sparkle12mar08 · 14/06/2013 22:10

The Panache has strong, proper individual cups to encapsulate and support each breast, and then has an additional slightly lighter layer over the whole of the outside, so it sort of looks mono boob, but isn't, iyswim? True to size as I said earlier, except in the black and navy, where I'd order a band size up in addition to your normal size, just to double check the fit. Black and navy dyes limit the fibre stretch so if you're at the top of a band size you'll need to size up. Often comes up on ebay for around £20 compared to rrp of £35.

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 14/06/2013 23:18

Panache is the best.

RevoltingPeasant · 14/06/2013 23:31

Enell. Enell!!

Shock absorbers = no good for long runs IMO.

Try www.lessbounce.co.uk. Have been wearing Enell for over a decade and they are the best ever.

RevoltingPeasant · 14/06/2013 23:32

Although it will feel like you can't breathe at first, that's how solid they are! You get used to that.

kaumana · 14/06/2013 23:48

Agree with the tighter feel!

mercury7 · 15/06/2013 01:43

Oh for a bra that would really hold the bosoms still without also making you feel as if the normal movement of your rib cage whilst breathing is restricted Hmm

When will science come up with the perfect solution Confused
I'm starting to prefer swimming to running, less stress to the breasts! Wink

EleanorFarjeon · 15/06/2013 01:53

I used to have the most amazing sports bra from m&s. it zipped up at the front and absolutely nothing moved, really important for me as I run.

I wore it do much that the zip broke. I have just bought a new zipped one they do, classified as 'ultra high impact' but it's nowhere near as good.

I'm going to try Enell.
