Streak Free Fake Tan,,, Is It Possible?!?!

Title says it all really. How can I apply fake tan w/o it going all streaky?

I found the fake tan wipes good. Make sure you exfoliate well, especially dry areas and elbows/knees. Also moisturise first. I use salt or a bath scrunchie to exfoliate. I had a spray tan recently and that was good.

johnson holiday skin.. FAB!!

FuglyDucking · 29/05/2006 22:33

I've bought two types - one especially for faces, nd one for rest of me. So basically I need to exfoliate the hell outta my skin, moisturise THEN apply fake tan?

Yep, second Johnson's Holiday Skin. Really, really good.

FuglyDucking · 29/05/2006 22:39

Boots Holiday Glow Body Lotion and Piz Buin Gradual Self Tan Facial Moisturiser are the two diff types I have. What is Johnsons Holiday skin?

SparklyGothKat · 29/05/2006 22:58

SparklyGothKat · 29/05/2006 23:05

MamaMaiasaura · 29/05/2006 23:06

SparklyGothKat · 29/05/2006 23:07

bugger it was on BOGOF in morrisons, so have two bottles of the darker one..

myturn · 29/05/2006 23:08

I am pale but brought the darker one as had just been on holiday and it worked great when my skin was tanned. It does turn very dark though, so am going to buy the light one now that I am back to my usualy peelly wally skin.

does anyone know how to faketan the back of your hands?? You have to wash your hands and I don;t want the 'look at my fake tan' look!!! hehe

Northerner · 29/05/2006 23:18

I use teh Dove one and it's fab, put it on every other day, exfoliate twice a week. Everyone comments on how good it looks.

Re Hands - put cream on back of hands and sweep along fingers and inside fingers. Either run a little water in the sink and place palms in then rub palms on a towel to dry or rub palms together with a damp flannel in between.

SparklyGothKat · 29/05/2006 23:20

cheers, I have always wondered... :)
