In search of the perfect black flats - HELP!

I want a pair of comfortable, quality, nice-looking (can be work at weekends with a jumper and jeans or can be worn during the week for work) black flats. I have a pair of Dune flats now, but they wore out really quickly, and are really uncomfortable to stand in for long periods of time.

Any suggestions?

I am in love with these Paul Smith ballet flats, but they are staggeringly expensive

Thanks finlaysmum12. They're a bit chunkier than I normally like, but if they're that comfortable, maybe I can be converted??

LulaPalooza do you have these? Are they comfy? They slightly resemble my current ones (minus the adorable bow.. Love that!) and they're killers...

reggiebean I don't have them yet but I soon will as they've just been reduced to £126! Still stupidly expensive but I feel like it's a sign that they should be mine...

I'm pleased with my Banana Republic Abby ballet flats: they've got some kind of memory foam type thing in the sole for comfort, and the elastic edging means there's no toe claw action to keep them on.

These? They are cheap but leather and quite smart. Can't say they are comfortable, never owned a pair that was.

Hush Puppies Janessa are so comfortable. Nicely padded on the insole, really flexible and gorgeous soft leather. I've got the tan ones but the black look good IRL too.
