anyone got/tried the J Crew 'matchstick' jeans?

I'm just wondering how they come up size wise. anyone tried them and can advise?

Yes - I have 29 inch waist ones- very flattering - but avoid if you are pear shaped! I'm quite up and down - or was - before pregnancy. Of all my jeans these are the ones I'm looking forward to wearing again. Had my DD2 4 weeks ago and have half a stone to lose (all of it around my waist)

oh brill, thanks for the reply career girl. are they nice and thick? I am looking at the white ones so will avoid if likely to be see-through or flimsy.

i'm quite straight up and down, prone to apple-tummy-fat rather than pear.

what does a 29 equate to in UK sizing, do you reckon? I'm an 8, but can be anything from 24-26 in jeans depending on the brand so have no idea what to go for. i've emailed them asking for advice too.
