I am fat with no style, shall I just hide away forever?

I am a hour glass size 18-20 depending, dark brown hair shoulder length that's frizzy, I sometimes dye it blue black as it looks better, hazel eyes and currently sport a farmers tan, lots of freckles and a horrid, horrid dark area over my top lip that I am very aware off, plus puffy black bags under my eyes.
I hate the way I look/dress etc. I am either in joggers and hoodie at the yard mucking out/sorting horses or at home with the DC.
DH says he loves my curves and I should wear nicer things, but I feel too fat to wear skinny jeans/nice top/blazer, which seems to be the in yummy mummy look.
I am 38 this year, feel more like 68, please help me.

This blog is fantastic. She must be at least a size 18 but has an amazing dress sense.

Going a little bit on your name, and also from what you said about liking your hair blue/black, plus your country lifestyle Envy - I can imagine you wearing something like this when not in the yard! Pardon me if it's not your style but these look great on bigger girls!

How did you guess I am quite Gothy lol? I love the whole Goth look, not sure I can pull it off, love the dress though x

I would seriously consider wrap dresses - could be just the thing to make you feel more glamorous and once that happens you might think differently about clothes in general.

I agree on the Nigella Lawson look for you!

To combat the hip/waist thing, DP do lovely skinny jeggings. They're like very soft, stretchy demin but with a stretchy waistband. The waistband has belt loops, so you then disguise the nasty stretchy band with a lovely leather belt. That's what I do anyway!

I have an hourglass figure and I love wrap dresses, but generally find dresses on the whole great. You can also add a belt to accentuate your waist.

Would 2nd/3rd the Nigella look.
