A question on behalf of DH

DH would like to buy some new t-shirts and is wondering where is good quality that does nice long t-shirts. He is quite tall and long in the body and doesn't want anything that will ride up and expose his middle.

He is also 43, and is therefore looking for just plain or striped t-shirts rather than anything with logos or pictures which he feels he is too old for and I agree

Thank you Grin

Thanks, I've directed him there.

Not sure what the wink is for? Confused

My dh is tall and m&s do a tall range. Same t shirts and polos but 2 inches longer in arms and body. They have them in some stores, or we usually order online and collect from our local store.

Gap.

How tall is he? Dp is 6'1 and likes these. They are lovely and soft and wash well - they don't ride up on him.

Or (uncool alert) the Peter Storm at Millets ones are v cheap and really quite decent quality for the price - dp has had some of his for years!

Bowlersarm · 09/06/2013 22:03

The Peter storm ones are fantastic value Remus. I bought my DH some for training purposes but he wears them for best! He has loads of Paul smith, timberland, Boden, Armani, so that is praise indeed.

Gstar do nice quality tshirts

showtunesgirl · 09/06/2013 22:10

Uniqlo. And they wash very well. DH is extremely hard wearing on his clothes and Uniqlo always works well for him.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 09/06/2013 22:50

Thank you - those Peter Storm ones look really nice and we would never have thought of looking there!

Euro - he has some Gap ones but the quality is shocking. Thin material and wonky seams.

Remus - he is 6ft, but has proportionally a longer back and shorter legs so tops are always short. It is easy to get longer length shirts but he has always struggled with t-shirts and polos.

Thanks for all the suggestions, not sure we would have found any of those of our own accord :)

My DH is 6'3, long-bodied and slim and also likes Uniqlo.

J Crew does a long length but is more pricey.
