Apart from the plain criteria I got one that fitted all the other requirements in Wallis last year, I don't know if they have anything similar this year. Are you tall enough to wear their dresses?

lborolass · 08/06/2013 22:21

Actually there are a few plain ones here

Wallis

OliviaMMumsnet · 08/06/2013 22:23

i have had nice ones from Boden and phase 8
Usual MNHQ disclaimers apply.

PrincessOfChina · 08/06/2013 22:24

The ones in Oasis are fab. Might be a bit tight but I wouldn't call them skin tight really.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2013 22:26

White Company?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2013 22:27

Here

Funny enough I'm having the same problem so I will watch this thread with interest. They are either too short, tribal printed, strapless or tent like. Up to now I've come to the conclusion they are not for my body shape (tall, skinny , no bust ).I will have a look in Wallis Iborolass.

Mosschops30 · 08/06/2013 22:34

Cant see any Wallis ones i like.
Dont like the white stuff one

I want either t shirt top or vest top to it.
I tried one in DP today but the 10 was mahoosive and i didnt have time to get the 8
Im thinking around the £25 mark, its only for general daytime wear

I bought a lovely one in Dorothy Perkins today. Not too tight, not too loose. And most importantly not too long (am short arse). It's from the Izabel range but can't find it on their website, though the sales assistant said they had only come in this morning.

Mosschops30 · 08/06/2013 22:55

Tried 5 on in Gap today, all awful

Shakey1500 · 08/06/2013 22:56

I'm 5ft and a smidgen and can't find one for love nor money (that I like). I'm not a fan of online shopping and I've trawled the shopping centres to no avail. Petite ranges are crap. It's like "There you go, there is the one maxi dress we have".

I just don't like the patterns! Too flowery, yucky or a hideous mix of colours. I want psychedelic, abstract.

Either that or I start learning to walk on stilts Confused

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 08/06/2013 22:57

I loved the first DP one - I need a plunge neckline. But why is it so hard to find one with SLEEVES????

NB: I know from my other threads that I have an obsession with sleeves but my upper arms cannot be on display in public Sad

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2013 22:58

Stick a cropped denim jacket on top.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 08/06/2013 22:59

I'll probably stick to a cardie Smile

Corygal · 08/06/2013 23:02

Jigsaw usually do one with sleeves - or try Splendid and Velvet. Sorry to be pricy - but if you can't face spendng, there's always the Primark option - they do a suspiciously long 'midi' in grey marl with 3/4 length sleeves for a tenner.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 08/06/2013 23:04

Oooh, might get myself to Primark. Though I am quite tall so a long midi might not do it.

sarahandduck · 10/06/2013 21:18

I have the black plunge DP one and it is FAB! I am petite with a 34FF bust and it looks amazing.
