What the hell am I supposed to replace them with?
I am large of arse (and pretty much everything else, size 26 Blush ), although actually have decent, in proportion, proportions.

My beloved white cropped linen trousers have been pretty much one of the staples of my holiday wardrobe, so if I don't wear them, tell me what I can/should wear on my hot holiday next month???

Me and my fat backside (24) have just bought our first ever white linens.

We are wondering why we didn't do this before.

I am normally reasonably up to the minute with fashion. I get it, linen trousers, bootcut jeans, ankle boots have been done unto death, but...

I go to sunny places about once a year. Twice if lucky. I'd be buggered if I buy a bunch of expensive fashion gear for that. Well cut linen trousers are a staple that can suit everyone IMO. There's nothing worse than a pasty, sweaty person in uncomfortable clothes in the sun IMO (and u have been that

I've lost my cropped linen trousers, I got them out of the cupboard last week, to iron, and have no idea what I did with them Hmm. I have a horrible feeling they went into the charity bag by accident Sad.

Damn iPhone - I have been that person.

What sort of holiday is it? There are some lovely day dresses out at the moment (I live in day dresses) but I know it can be a bit limited above size 16

Oh and I've just lost half a stone, got back into my navy blue linen trousers and I've had loads of compliments on my linen trousers & jacket combo. Bugger the fashion police Grin

So, was this instruction that no-one is allowed linen trousers on another thread on here, or from somewhere else? This is the first I'd heard of it but tbh I am fairly unfashionable.

On here, various threads.

If you like them, and you're happy in them, then who cares what others think. BUT, having just come back from a short break to Lisbon, it does come across that many British women aren't brilliant at dressing their shape in the warmth (and actually, it wasn't very warm). I do think the straight, cut off mid-calf, slightly baggy linen trousers aren't terribly flattering, TBH. I think skirts and dresses can do a similar job but be a bit more flattering to curves.
