What colour shoes with a navy skirt?

I'm hesitating between beige or navy (but open to suggestions) - views please oh stylish ones on mn .
Also whilst we're talking shoes - what colour would I wear tan shoes with? Tempted by the ones on sale in LKBennett at the moment.

Depending on the outfit I would probably wear a nice nude shoe.

And the tan would depend on the style. Do you have a link?

Conveniently, tan and navy work beautifully together...

Red, especially a cherry red looks lovely with navy.
