I want more trousers, because the cigarette ones I bought in the last sale are just brilliant. I've only got three or four things from there so far and you have to search through a lot of long, black, shapeless things to find nice stuff! I like their jewellery too.

I really regret not buying several pairs of the trousers at the same time. They are not there now, or I'd have bought another pair even at full price. The tops seem reasonably priced without a sale, overall. Will go and investigate.

So annoying when that happens. But the problem is that it's difficult to know at the time of buying that the 'perfect' item is 'perfect' IYSWIM. I was wearing a pair of Gerard Darel cigarette trousers today that I bought in January sales and at the time I thought they were perfect but they have washed really badly (shrinking, water marks etc) even though I followed the label instructions so are destined for the bin.

Exactly! I'd take them back though - worth a shot at least?

Checked the receipt a few months ago when I first noticed and they have a no refunds/exchanges etc policy on sales items - probably should try anyway...

Try anyway - they are expensive and therefore should be able to make clothes which last more than a couple of months. Good luck!

Are you signed up to receive updates from COS? They send sale alert via email. At a guess I would say end of June/early July. After a bit the sale goes down further too, but it's a gamble re sizes left if you hold off.

The sale last summer started midnight 12th June/morning of 13th June. I think there was a couple of days notice from what I remember.

It's started. You can return online purchases from sale. Just bought a few things. Email notification hasn't gone out yet but quite a lot almost sold out.
