Bought a really flattering jersey maxi dress today from Next.

I've got about three million that I've bought over the past few summers and not got the courage to wear but I've recently lost a stone so I thought I'd try some on in town today and found the holy grail in Next of all places!

It's navy blue, like a jersey vest style but it has a tie at the waist so gives some shape, unlike the straight up & down ones or the billowy tent like ones. It's v v flattering, I'm 5'5 and size 14 (at the min!) and it comes down to my ankles and skims over my stomach and arse. I love it, def worth a look if you're passing. It's only £25 too :)

I liked that one too. But I tried it on and, alas, I looked like 4lbs of shite in a 2lb bag in it so it went back.

Sex (LOVE your name!) oh what a shame. I only tried it on because it caught my eye on the mannequin and the tie waist caught my eye. Maybe you could try sizing up? I find a lot of Next stuff to be hit and miss these days, size wise.

S'ok, I look like that in most things I eventually found another maxi in which I look less like 2 pigs fighting in a binbag.

I'm the same don't worry, hence the weight loss. I couldn't handle another summer hiding away in jeans!

I lost 6 stone a couple of years ago. Then I had a baby and found most of it again. I need a kick up the arse to get back on the treadmill (or my jaws wired).
