Makeup to cover/diminish appearance of melasma

I have a large patch of melasma on each cheek and arund my lips. Can anyone recommend makeup to cover/ improve how my skin looks - I am so self conscious of how my skin looks.

I had an appointment for skin camoflague makeup although it covered the melasma completely it looked like a mask and cracked if I smiled and felt so heavy.

Some makeup seems to make the melasma look even darker.

I am desperate for something to even my skin out a little.

Have you tried Supercover correctors? I have vitiligo and use one of their correctors to cover my white bits.

I'd guess that you'd need no25?

I'm not too fussed on their foundations so I use cover FX liquid foundation and their matte setting powder. The foundation is liquid based and I don't find it too heavy, though I sometimes use a damp sponge if I want a really light covering. My skin is quite dry though, I think the cream version is meant to be better if you have more combination skin. I get mine online from House of Fraser but the US website is quite good for selecting what it is you want.

None of this gives a completely flawless complexion, but it makes me feel more confident and is well worth the money imo. Hope this helps, good luck!
