So recently ive been trying a lot harder with my clothes bye bye bootcuts and trainers! and im resembling slightly fashionable but my hair on the other hand is severely unstylish, I either wear it down (rarely) as have 2 young children or scrape it back in a low pony tail not even a fashionable pony one with a scrunchie! as my hair is in a centre score I just pull it to either side, I have no fringey bits at all. Ive been looking at you tube videos but cant seem to achieve anything as most have fringes to leave out. I cant even get my hair into a high ponytail or one of those half looped through ones and feel I missed a girl class on hair or something, anyone please find me and easy stylish alternative?

im 27, hair is just past shoulder length

Try looking on a cup of Jo web page. She has some hair tutorials which seem easy enough

Ok, few options

You could do a fish tail plait. Simples or low poney tail, divid into two equal bits, take hair from the back of bit a and cross over the front ontp bit b, take hair from the back of bit b and cross over the front of bit a. repeat all the way down to the bottom and tie

Bubble plait,

Take hair and put in low pony tail, put hair band on a couple of inches down pony tail, you now have a sort of o of hair between to ties, divid o of hair in half lenght ways, and flip hair through from the top so it goes through the middle and no repeat all the way down the hair, more ties, more flipping, Now go back to each "o" of hair and pull at the sides. one uneven distresses bubble pony tail.

Ok rope braid, make low pony tail, slip into two section, twist each section to the left and then twist over the other section to the right, repeat all the way down, gives a rope braid.

Low twist, take hair, pull back as if to do a low pony tail, and twist and twist up onto your head, and pin / use a big clip in place.

Low bun, take hair into pony tail to the side looks great, either plait in anyway above or like normal, or do a bubble pony then twist hair round budge you used to make the pony tail and pin. Looks lovely for the evening.

I will have a think of a few more. Had long hair most of my life, and so does DD so I am still putting hair up all the time!

Ok more

Low ballet bun, again looks great to the side or in the middle.

Take hair and put in a low pony tail.

Take hair donut (buy in most supermarkets etc)

And thread pony trough the middle. fan your pont out of donut, can help to turn head etc, take another bungie and streatch it over the dognut and down so it is no under dognut, either leave ends lose, to give a fan effect, or tuck ends under dognut, or twist ends round the bottom sides of donut, pin if you want to make it extra secure

Ok fancy looks!

Take you hair and wash it, when it is damp NOT wet damp, add a little mouse (if you don´t want to leave out)

Now section you hair, just split into different bits, the more the merry no hassle.

Ok take cut up bits of anything, tights, old t shirt anything you want strips of them

Wrap each section of hair around a strip of rag, any way, now fussing, tuck the ends in and roll the hair up around the rag, tie the rag. repeat on all sections

NOW go to bed!

In the morning, you can leave the rags in and tuck under a hat if you like

Other wise undo the bottom sections first, undo knot, tip so one end of the rag in in your hand and pull the rag out

Repeat on all sections. do NOT brush, run your fingers through to seperate the curls.

You can go like this if you like

Or you could it into a low pony (leave a few bits out around your face)

or you could put in three ponies, on you each side low and a third on in the middle just a little higher, and then pin a few curls around with gribs and you have an easy simple updo.

Another different look works great on wet hair! so if you run out of time to do anything this can work

Take hair and bursh whislt still wettish (more than damp but damp will do)

Take a comb with a pointy tail and hold it in your hand, so the the no pointy end touches you scalp at your ear. run in on motions never losing contact with the scalp over to the other ear over the top of your head now flip the bit you just seperated forwards and comb the other bit backwards and down so it is sleek.

Take the front bit ) and seperate in the same manner into two sections, lets just do simple first in the middle of your hear and comb each bit flat down either side of your face.

Plait each side in anyway you want, (see up thread) and secure both ends. Now take the two small paits and pull them onto the back of your head, you want them approximately half way down the rear of you head, join them together with another bungie and remove the first two

Ok so now you have loads of lose hair.

So starting on the left side of your head, take a section of the loose hair and twist it towards the right (counter clock wise) one twisted go up and over the plaits and out from under neath. so you loop the twist over the plait.

Take another section of hair and add to the first (that is no out the bottom from the plait) and repeat. untill you are at the middle of the head where you joined the two plaits together. bring the last twsited section over the top of the plaits and secure to the plait tails with a bungie.

Go over the right side of the head and repeat except twist the hair clockwise.

You will end up with a lovely hair twist into the middle on each side and a pony tail from the center, which could plait, curl, leave lose you can add decoration like pins, of fake flowers to the twist if you want

Too do a high pony tail that will stay put!

Ok take your hair and brush it.

Now take a comb and holding the end on your scalp go across the head from the top of one ear to the other. this gives you two sections top and bottom.

Take the bottom section and get it out of the way.

Take the top section and bursh into a pony tail at the center of your head, and secure with a bungie.

Now take the bottom section of hair, and lean you head back, place your hands under with your tumbs towards each other and your index finger of each hain by each ear and scrap up and intowards the first pony tail.

Take another bungie and secure from the bottom over the top pony tail.

High pony tail that won´t shit down during the day.

Now I have gone on and on!!!

If there is a particular style you want, link a picture to it and can probably give you an idea of how it is done!

If any of the above it not clear just let me know.

I have some other fab hair "ways" like "open buns with plaits round the bottom" and "heart shaped buns" how to do bows etc. they are simple pimple but might not be the sort of thing you are looking for.
