Yes!

SirBoobAlot · 04/06/2013 20:07

I have a glass one, and it's wonderful.

Leighton Denny

Yes, Leighton Denny - worth every penny.

GTbaby · 04/06/2013 20:46

Love mine! 10years ago bought first one in US. After which I bought a few invade I lost them. I bought a Leighton one here. You can get them from boots. Prefer the small size b

Hijacking - is there a knack to using the crystal / glass files? I always end up with snagged, papery nails when I use them instead of the clean finish they promise.

Wiggy29 · 04/06/2013 21:26

I hate them, feel like my nails were weaker after& the sensation of filing them on these made me wince like nails on a blackboard! No idea why, maybe it's just me.

chunkymonkeybaby · 04/06/2013 21:33

I love my Leighton Denny crystal file, it is brilliant. I've used it on my baby DD' s nails since she was born as well as its gentle, far better than emery boards. I think crystal files are a bargain considering how long they can last.

ihatethecold · 04/06/2013 21:45

I bought one from BM stores for £1.

It's great and a bargain

HollaAtMeBaby · 04/06/2013 21:45

Definitely worth having one of these but no need to pay £££ for a Leighton Denny one - the ones you can buy in pound shops are just the same as the pricier ones!

Sister mentioned she got hers in boots 3for2 offer. So if its pricy watch out for offers. I think she paid 12 for a small one. But it lasts and comes in a case.

When I lost mine i used a cheap pound shop one and it was rubbish. So try use it first Wink

Never has a prob with getting snaggs on my nails though? Maybe it's a bad nail file? For technique try a YouTube video. Must be loads.

I only use mine to shorten n shape my nails. I don't use them as part of a buffing process as that would damage your nail.

mrsblakey · 05/06/2013 07:40

thanks guys will definitely be purchasing.

Actually I don't think the cheaper ones are the same as the Leighton Denny ones. I used the cheaper ones and the LD is far better imo. I got it for a tenner from Amazon which is half the usual price.

I love mine. It's by All for Eve and I got it from Ocado!

LulaPalooza · 05/06/2013 12:54

Another fan here. I got a Leighton Denny one in a collection from TK Maxx (4 polishes, a top coat, quick dry spray and crystal nail file all in a pretty silver bag for £14.99. Bargain of the century). It's been a revelation.
