tanning creams for very pale skin?

Hi there. I am feeling decidedly pasty now the sun is out and wondered if anyone can recommend a tanning cream for very pale, freckly skin? I am scared of going from 'milk bottle' to 'tangerine dream' overnight and I'm looking for something subtle and natural looking. Any help from fellow pale MNers would be greatly appreciated!

I have very pale freckly skin, verging on blue. I have used st tropez lotion for years. I don't use it often, just for special occasions like weddings, but it looks very natural, not too dark at all. In fact it probably just makes me the colour of your average tan-less person but makes me look healthy and glowing. You can buy it much cheaper if you shop around, TK Max often have some in.

Try St Moritz on Amazon, has great reviews and much much cheaper!!

I am ridiculously white and have been using Dove summer glow moisturiser for fair skin with 'a subtle self tanner'' smells really nice and it is subtle and gradual. I'm pleased with the effect!

St moriz is really bad for your skin I know multiple people who got "eczema like" rashes all over from it... Including myself.

The pricey ones are generally better! Fake bake, st tropez etc

(I am trained in spray tanning)

Hope you find what your looking for xx

I am fish belly white over winter. I use the st tropez daily moisturiser gradual tanner for pale skin. I find an application in the morning and then one overnight gives a reasonable colour to start that you can keep topped up every other day. It's not particularly moisturising though so I alternate it with my usual moisturiser.

Oh no, Smilehappy Just ordered some Sad

xen tan is really excellent and they do separate ranges to give you light, medium and dark tans. I used the Transform 'light' one over the winter and it didn't come out orangey or streaky

Queen, it's still on the market so it must work for some people just keep an eye out for the dry blotchy skin, it may be fine for youSmile

I am such a 'pale Gale' i love fake tan for that summer glow Smile

Xx
