How to accessorise (& brighten up) navy dress for a wedding

I've got a navy dress I want to wear to wedding in a few weeks but feel it's a bit dark & heavy (high neck, fitted sleeveless body, full mid-calf skirt) and unsure what colours to put with it or how to accessorise it? Would a corsage of some description be really naff? I'd like a nice spring colour to complement it but don't really go for matching shoes & bag so any (high street) suggestions on how to tie everything together much appreciated.

I always think a pale coral goes well with navy, but I guess it depends how dark it is? Do you have a photo?

How about coral or fuschia or turquoise shoes and then pick out the colour in an embroidered or embellished bag from somewhere like Accessorize?

I wore a navy dress for a recwnt wedding and added this necklace and it got loads of compliments, really brightened the outfit and if you suit the colour, it's a great one for near your face. I wore bright coral lippie and blusher too. If link doesn't work search for 'orchid necklace' it says it's pink but it's an orangey coral.

Would you consider a short cropped jacket in maybe lime or citrus yellow
and then stick with dark shoes and bag and add a bright necklace and chunky bracelet in similar colour to jacket

I was just coming on to say coral or teal / turquoise but looks like I've been beaten to it Grin

That's a gorgeous necklace amazinggg!

I love hot pink or terquoise with Navy

Corsage don´t have to the work of the devil, but I recommend keeping them simple!

Also a belt if possible can really brighten a dress up, the same applies to a scarf.

As can a jacket, or really gorgeous jewlery

Amazingg I can´t get your link to work and I would love to know which necklace it is, can you tell me which one it is?

Thanks all Grin I'm going for the coral suggestion & found some coral slingbacks from M&S that look great with it. I tried the necklace which is lovely but unfortunately it just wouldn't sit right with the neckline so still need that 'something' else to tie it all in.
Not really keen on a jacket as the dress gives me a fabulous waist which would be covered with anything bar a cropped jacket which I'm just not the right shape for in any outfit Wink. My first thought was a belt but DH said it cuts me in half & it also starts to look a bit 1950's prom dress which I'm a tad Hmm about

What about a really fab head piece?

Would a pashmina or light wrap work?
